During the summer of 2022, I attended a 2-week residential summer camp program offered by TRYEngineering Institute at the University of San Diego. The summer camp was focused on Aerospace Engineering but also touched upon other disciplines of engineering (electrical, civil, mechanical, and computer). I learned a lot about problem-solving in the engineering world and managing time and material constraints. We also visited the Qualcomm headquarters where I learned about the latest technologies such as drones, intelligently connected wearables, virtual and augmented reality, smart city innovation, and their various patents that enabled them to bring multiple innovations to the world.
